PRESS RELEASE  

 

 

1. GENERAL

 

The Twenty-Forth Session of the Standing Committee for Economic and Commercial Cooperation (COMCEC) of the Organization of the Islamic Conference (OIC) will be held on May 13-15, 2008, at Adora Golf Resort Hotel, in Antalya.

           

            Delegations from 11 countries and international organizations have been invited for the session.

           

On the other hand, The First Session of The Standing Committee for the Forum on Enhancement and Promotion of Trade and Investment in Cotton Sector among OIC Member Countries will be held in the same hotel on May 12, 2008.

 

Busses will be provided for the transportation of members of the press from the Antalya Office of the Directorate General of Press and Information to Adora Golf Resort Hotel, on May 13 and 15, both at 08:45 and from Adora Golf Resort Hotel back to Antalya, on May 15, at 12:15.

             

 

2. ACCREDITATION

 

Members of the press who intend to cover the sessions should apply for accreditation to the address below in person or by fax by Friday, May 09, 2008, during office hours, with the enclosed accreditation form (which can also be found at www.byegm.gov.tr) and a copy of their press card issued by the Directorate General of Press and Information. (Media members without press cards should apply with a letter of authorization from their media organizations and their official ID)

3. ACCREDITATION CARDS

 

Members of the press should collect their accreditation cards in person from the press desk to be established at Antalya’s Adora Golf Resort Hotel, by presenting a photo ID, by May 12.
