Walking through the city we came to the Temple of Hadrian, the most decorative and elegant monument in all of Ephesus.

One of my friends couldn't help posing for our camera.  This sanctuary was built in the 2nd century A.C. and was nearly destroyed by several earthquakes.  Makes you wonder doesn't it?
