PAMUKKALE

Do you know what Pamukkale means in Turkish?

"COTTON CASTLE"

Now you may very well ask what cotton castle has got to do with it.

Pamukkale is a natural wonder.  It is a calcified waterfall.  This thermal water, laden with calcium carbonate gushes out of mountain side over the plateau edge and forms this sparkling white pertified cascade basins ringed with stalagtites.
