Deputy PM Çavuşoğlu reminded that they were representatives of a political mentality that made changes, transformations and reforms in Turkey and said:
"We have a thinking that lifts burdens rather than imposing them. Unfortunately, Turkey has been going through a turbulence in recent years. Western states have found themselves faced with a leadership approach capable of proposing its own theses, which they were not accustomed to. According to our conception of politics, it is not possible for a Turkey, which is kept waiting at the doorstep, unable to say a boo, leaving aside its arguments and theses and acting on what is imposed on it, cannot survive in this region."
Noting that Justice and Development Party had gone through many challenges since its foundation, Çavuşoğlu said that Turkey had grown 4-folds and become the 17th largest economy of the world.
Çavuşoğlu also commented on politicians who spoke inconsistently:
“You cannot expect anything from those who speak inconsistently. There are members of political parties who make a big deal out of the damage we inflict on the terrorist organization with armed drones in an area where many of our people and youngsters were killed. They even shared the grief of terrorists. Parties with such members cannot bring anything to this country. Those speaking with the words of the PKK and FETO will not bring any benefit to this country.”
