GENERAL INFORMATION

Turkish Armed Forces within “De-escalation Control Force”, which was composed of the armed forces units of Turkey, Russia and Iran as the gurantor countries of Astana Process in order for monitoring the cease-fire process in Syria, started reconnaissance operation to determine surveillance posts in a bid to create a “de-escalation zone” in Syria’s province of Idlib.

 

ACCREDITATION

Having applied in person for accreditation to the DGPI Press Center at the address below and been accredited, the members of the press who wish to cover the developments relating to the joint operation in Idlib, can carry out journalistic activities in the secure areas to be determined by the related authorities.

Members of the national press should legibly fill in the enclosed accreditation form, attach a copy of their press card (Media members without this press card should apply with a letter of authorization from their media organization and a copy of their official ID cards.) and the photo in the jpeg format.

Resident members of the international press in Turkey should legibly fill in the enclosed accreditation form, attach a copy of their press card and the photo in the jpeg format.

Members of the international press coming from abroad should legibly fill in the enclosed accreditation form and attach a copy of their local press card, a letter of authorization from their media organization, a copy of their passport and the photo in the jpeg format.

Press members need to collect their accreditation cards in person by submitting an ID document at the Accreditation Center.
