THE 36th  MEETING OF COUNCIL OF MINISTERS OF FOREIGN AFFAIRS OF THE BLACK SEA ECONOMIC COOPERATİON (BSEC) MEMBER STATES

(İstanbul, 29 June 2017)

 

  1- GENERAL INFORMATION

The 36th Meeting of Council of Ministers of Foreign Affairs of the BSEC Member States will be held on 29 June 2017; at Swiss Hotel in Istanbul.

  2- ACCREDITATION

Members of the press who wish to cover the Meeting should apply for accreditation by uploading the required documents online via http://akreditasyon.byegm.gov.tr, no later than Thursday , 22 June 2017 at 6 pm.

Incomplete applications and requests received after 22 June 2017 will not be processed.

  a) Members of the national press

Journalist without press card are required to upload “a letter of authorization” from their media organization (officially signed by an authorized person and stamped), to the system.

Journalist who carry a press card are not required to upload any documents. (But Permanent and Free Press Card holders should upload a letter of authorization from their media organization online and state for which institution they are going to cover the ceremonies in the area named “Explanations” on the application page.)

  b) Resident members of the international press in Turkey

They are not required to submit any documents. They can complete their application procedure by logging in the system by the e-mail address and the password they used for their permanent accreditation application and selecting the activity they wish to cover.

Any e-mail address entered for the application other than the one used for permanent accreditation application will not be taken into account. For those members of the press who do not remember their e-mail addresses can contact us from the e-mail address  daimiakreditasyon@byegm.gov.tr

  c) Members of the international press coming from abroad daimiakreditasyon@byegm.gov.tr

They are required to upload a letter of authorization from their media organization (officially signed by an authorized person and stamped) and a copy of their passport, to the system.

  3- ACCREDITATION METHOD

   Enter the address http://akreditasyon.byegm.gov.tr

 -If you are a first-time applicant, click on the “Register” button and enter your e-mail address and a password you choose.
 -Next, click on the activation link sent to your e-mail and complete your registration.
 -After clicking the activation link on the page that comes before you use the “Log in” button and re-enter the system with your e-mail address and password.
 -Fill out your personal information on the profile page and upload your photograph. (The information you submit should be; for members of the national press as written on your “identity card”, and for international press as written on your “passport”.)
 -After saving the personal information, on the page that opens click on the name of the activity “The 36th Meeting of Council of Ministers of Foreign Affairs of BSEC Member States (29 June 2017)” on the area “Choose Application”.
 -For national and international press card holders’; media organization, position and contact information will automatically appear on the system. Members of the press will complete their application by clicking on the “Send” button on the right corner of the page.
 -For national and international media members without press card should upload the required documents to the system and complete their application by clicking on the “Send” button on the right corner of the page.
 -Members of press who complete the application successfully, will receive an e-mail message “Your application was saved in the system" (Re-apply if you have not received an e-mail as such.)
 -Do not forget the e-mail and password you used for your application. You will need these on your other accreditation applications.

 

Accreditation cards should be collected in person from the press center which will be established at the Swiss Hotel from 28 June 2017.

22nd WORLD PETROLEUM CONGRESS

(09-13 July 2017 - İstanbul)

 

1- GENERAL INFORMATION

 

The 22nd World Petroleum Congress will be held on 9-13 July, 2017; in the İstanbul Congress Center and Lütfi Kırdar International Convention & Exhibition Center in İstanbul, under the auspices of the Presidency of the Republic of Turkey and by the contribution of Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources;

It is expected national and international senior officials to participate to the event.  

2- ACCREDITATION

Members of the press who wish to cover the Congress should apply for accreditation by uploading the required documents online via http://akreditasyon.byegm.gov.tr, no later than Monday , 03 July 2017 at 6 pm.

Incomplete applications and requests received after 03 July 2017 will not be processed.

a) Members of the national press

4- LIVE BROADCAST / UPLINK VEHICLES

Only a limited number of uplink and other vehicles carrying technical equipment are allowed to enter the Meeting sites and these vehicles should have separate accreditations.

For each media organization only one person is enough to enter the vehicles information to the system. In case of more than one live broadcast vehicle to be commissioned to the ceremony sites you can register by clicking on the “Add Vehicle” button on the vehicle accreditation section of the application page.

Uplink and other vehicles carrying technical equipment without an accreditation card will not be allowed to enter the Meeting sites. Press members who are not accredited cannot benefit from press facilities or arrangements.

Accreditation badges should be collected in person from the Registration Desk in İstanbul Congress Center from 08 July 2017

MEETING OF NATO HEADS OF STATE AND GOVERNMENT

25 MAY 2017 BRUSSELS

 

Members of the press who wish to cover Meeting of NATO Heads of State and Government to be held in Brussels on 25 May 2017 must complete accreditation procedure via https://my.hq.nato.int/ until at 19:00 on 11 May 2017. Questions about the accreditation procedure can be directed to natoaccreditations@hq.nato.int.

The Media Centre located Avenue du Bourget, 42, 1130 will be opened on 24 May 2017. Damien Arnaud is authorized as NATO Media Coordinator, and it was informed that he may be reached by phone number +3227075041. Members of the press who will visit Brussels must complete their own visa procedures and accommodation arrangements.
