State Minister in the 54th Government. Elected Deputy Chairman of the
Virtue Party (FP). Entered Parliament as an FP deputy for the third time
in 1999. Became Deputy Chairman of the Justice and Development Party (AKP).
Speaks English and Arabic. Married with three children.

Graduated from the Faculty of Political Sciences, Ankara
University. After working in the public sector, entered the
university for an academic career. Served as Finance Minister in
the 54th Government in1996-1997. Sivas Deputy Şener is married and
has four children. Speaks French and Arabic.
