Milet where famous mathematician Tales lived - AYDIN

 
Bodrum. The Ephesus Archeological Museum, the St. John Basilica, the Castle, the İsabey Mosque and the Koca Mosque in Selçuk are also among the places attracting the attention of tourists.
 
The province of Aydın on the Aegean coast is encircled by ancient cities. Tralles, Alinda, Alabanda, Nysa, Magnesia, the ancient Priene where city-planning was employed for the first time in history, Miletus the hometown of renowned mathematician Thales, Didyma with the Temple of Apollo, Herakleia and Aphrodisias are among these cities. Aphrodisias is one of the most magnificent ancient cities in the Aegean. This city, completely built of marble, is celebrated in the whole world for its sculptures. The Temple of Aphrodite, the Odeon, the Hadrian Bath, Stadium, Agora, Theater and the Theater Baths are the famous spots in this city.

Saklıkent, Fethiye - MUĞLA

 
center with the white Mediterranean style architecture visible everywhere. The Gulet pattern schooner offered to yacht tourism and sought after in all Mediterranean countries is from Bodrum. The Mausoleum, one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World which was built in the 4th century B.C. for Mausolus, the King of Caria, was in Bodrum, but only the remnants of its foundations can be seen today.
 
The Datça Peninsula is Turkey’s narrowest and longest extension into the Aegean Sea. At the outermost tip of the peninsula is the city of Knidos, a center of culture and art in ancient times.
 
Located around a bay bearing its name, Marmaris is a favorite holiday resort with its miles-long beach, boardwalk, cafes, restaurants, pubs and bars. Similarly, Fethiye is famous for its scenic wonders and Köyceğiz for a lake fit for water skiing, sailing and rowing. All these towns are among the well-known tourist destinations in the province of Muğla.
